Job Description

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of the Project Manual documentation from Schematic Design through Construction Documents. This includes coordination of Consultants’ specifications.

The Specification Writer also serves as an information resource for the staff regarding materials and methods of construction.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

 

  • Registered Architect with a Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch. or M.Arch.)
  • Work experience in an Architect’s office appropriate to position is required
  • The successful candidate will be knowledgeable of the design and construction process and building systems.
  • Proficiency in SpecLink-e software is required

 

Job Description

 

Our architects are expected to produce project documentation from Schematic Design through Construction Documents. A successful candidate will be knowledgeable of the design and construction process and building systems, and must be comfortable working with church committees and other faith-based organizations.

  • 3 to 5 years work experience in an Architect’s office
  • Currently enrolled in or completed IDP
  • Proficiency in Revit Architecture
  • Experience on religious projects is a plus
